M&M Motorsports opened in a small building in downtown Kalamazoo Michigan in 1965 selling Suzuki motorcycles. As a family business with a commitment on customer satisfaction, hometown friendly service and great prices, M&M grew quickly. M&M received top sales awards from Suzuki in 1966, 1967, and 1968, winning trips to Japan for their accomplishments. They also added BSA motorcycles.
In 1968 M&M opened the areas first Yamaha motorcycle dealership. With two dealerships going strong, M&M needed more room. In 1970 M&M build a new 10,000 sq. ft. state of the art motorcycle dealership on 15 acres off Sprinkle Road, moving Suzuki & BSA. With a huge showroom, parts department and service department M&M continued to set Suzuki and Yamaha sales records.

In 1972 M&M built a second store next to the Suzuki store and moved Yamaha in. As the demand for motorcycles and snowmobiles grew, M&M customers were asking for more selection to go along with their quality service department, large parts department and great prices.
In 1975 M&M purchased Milwood Honda, a long standing Honda dealer and moved Honda to their Sprinkle Road location. Also in 1975, M&M opened a Honda automobile dealership becoming one of the first dealers in the nation to be awarded a Honda automobile franchise while selling Honda motorcycles in the same building. The new Honda franchise proved to be a big hit with M&M customers.

With motorcycling and snowmobiling growing steadily thru the late 70's M&M had the opportunity to buy a failing Kawasaki dealership. Now M&M had Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki & Kawasaki products all under on big roof, becoming again, one of the first to do so in the nation. M&M's reputation for great selection, low prices, award winning service and friendly knowledgeable staff grew throughout the state.

During the 80's M&M experienced tremendous growth. Many of their customers were now second generation. In 1987 M&M became on of the nations first SeaDoo personal watercraft dealers. This was the beginning of the boom in the personal watercraft industry. M&M now sells SeaDoo, Yamaha Waverunners, Kawasaki Jet Skis as well as SeaDoo sport boats.
Since 1965 M&M has committed itself to friendly hometown service, quality products, great selection, and everyday low prices.
